Royal Hunter

John spent a lot of time in India.  He loved riding on the back of an elephant into the bush to photograph Tigers.   Once on a safari the elephant John was one started acting nervous.  There behind a tall bunch of reeds was a massive Tiger.  It saw them at the same time John saw the tiger.   The enormous beast leaped 20 feet in the opposite direction to get away from the safari.  This made John think about what it was like a century in the past, when the Royals on elephants went on tiger hunts.   This painting depicts the Royal Hunters of 100 years ago in the background with their elephants, boxes, and lots of people looking for a tiger.  The tiger in the foreground is looking at the safari in the background – who is really the Royal Hunter?
